This show blends art, poetry, and community connection into one creative experience. The idea is simple but powerful:
-
Corks → the social and celebratory element (wine, mimosas, or spirits) that invites people to relax, share, and enjoy themselves.
-
Canvas → the visual arts, where painting, live art, and creative expression set the stage for inspiration.
-
Poetic Brunch → My signature touch, weaving in spoken word, storytelling, and performances.
Altogether, the event is about feeding both body and spirit — gathering people over brunch, drink, and art, while using poetry and painting as a space for reflection, conversation, and joy.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
LesleyAnn Moore, known professionally as The Poetic Artiste (she/her), is a multidisciplinary artist based in Boston, Massachusetts, with Jamaican and Trinidadian roots. Working across painting, poetry, and mixed media, her practice explores themes of self-expression, body positivity, feminine confidence, and the power of creative voice.

A self-taught acrylic painter and spoken word poet, The Poetic Artiste studied creative writing and drawing at the University of Massachusetts Boston and further developed her artistic practice through collaborative learning with artists in Baltimore, Maryland. Her work often represents feminine beauty through abstract and multimedia techniques, blending color, texture, and language to create emotionally resonant experiences.

Her work has been exhibited in various spaces across NY, Baltimore, Boston, and Philly. In addition to her studio practice, she is deeply committed to community engagement and regularly curates art shows, open mics, and poetry brunch experiences throughout the City of Boston, centering art as a tool for connection, reflection, and care.

Passionate about inclusion and creative accessibility, The Poetic Artiste believes art should be both expressive and communal.
